Sculpture-installation produced during a workshop in Nida-Lithuania as part of EASA 2016, which is a network of designers and architects from all over the world. The installation project was part of the “Obsessed” workshop, and the aim of it was to teach the participants to cope with the transition from inspiration to realisation. Through a series of style exercises including different medias and to find an object to be obsessed with. “In an early stage of a project, there is a vague idea of what we want to do and not a clue on how to do it. When looking for inspiration for our work, we often find an “object of desire” , something that feels like it should be a part of our project, even if we have no idea why”. For me, it was the human figure-as an obsession during my stay there. The huge amount of figures and bodies as there were 500 people-participants during the two weeks, moving and talking and interacting with each others which I found my personal obsession by watching them and in a moment to find those figures as an abstract repetitive forms. All repeated and all the same but with different sizes. Going through a lot of experimentation and mediums and at the end produce more than 200 figure in three days was my act of presenting the idea of obsession using cardboards as an material for the production.
