Human Perception

Installation Project [Work in progress], 2019

Mixed Media Sculpture, Drawing, Paper-cuts

By being intrigued by the concept of the abstraction of human form as a result of its own psychological influences and by considering the use and study of body form as an exploration of the human identity and by focusing on the idea of self-documentation of the very personal psychological phases and stages.

Human perception is a work in progress installation project in which it’s a reflection of all those ideas and conceptions and a development of the idea of self-documentation. As it’s a reflection of her own personal world/universe that she is living in it in her own body.

By designing and creating a layout of a space, presented by a miniature architectural forms and shapes; while it can be seen as an urban landscape. Those miniature-architectural forms is used to describe a city made of geometrical shapes which refers by a metaphoric way to all the experiences, memories, phases, emotions she has been through and experienced in life.

It’s a designed created city/universe of abstracted forms with repeated seven different shapes originally symbolising a level of completion by its number seven.

By producing a repetitive production of each form, and start displaying and using them as puzzles by showcasing them with unsystematic and unorganised composition to create the imaginary miniature city which will help on designing a layout of a new dimension of the space and build an interactive environment between the audience and the space itself which is a reflection of her own world of thoughts and feelings and let them go through this experience.
