We are all facing a challenging times due the current pandemic situation caused by COVID-19. Global curfews followed by restrictions and lockdowns evoked a feeling of an apocalypse that everyone of us felt deep down.

But from a different perspective of the same/current situation.. we can clearly see that all human kind felt somehow all Connected and United by facing the same danger and running towards a Survival Instinct and more importantly towards Hope.

Therefore, this project is not about an individual experience, it’s more about a common/public/shared experience which helped and enhanced the concept and the idea of a Human Unity at this specific period of time and to stand as a simple reminder of how we’re all united together to conquer danger/fear.

And if the human body is the real host for a virus then for me the exhibition space will be the new host and I will be considering the space itself as the body.

And by being inspired by different kinds of viruses shapes, I worked on remoulding and redesigning those shapes to create new forms/creatures sized almost as human figure. By reversing/inverting the size of those forms into a larger scale will is a figurative of making the audience be able to confront their fears of this invisible disturbing microorganism *the virus* and putting it to a visible and more familiar, interactive and operative three dimensional forms.

Those forms, creatures will create an imaginary ‘otherworldly’ field that will help on designing a layout of a new occupied dimension of the space and build an interactive environment between the audience and the space itself which will be a metaphor of letting all of us face the challenges that come across our path as human beings.

The sculpture pieces are a repetitive production from three different forms while starting displaying and using them with unsystematic and unorganised composition which will help create a dynamic mood of the whole installation.
